Splash Atlanta became Eroticon this year, and Episode 261 is the honest recap: a massive new downtown hotel, pool games in greenhouse heat, packed playtime, and an inflatable-unicorn flash mob that took over the dance floor. Lacy arrived running on fumes after Hedo. Dan had skipped that trip, so he showed up ready to make up for lost time.

Did Splash Atlanta really become Eroticon?
Yes. The new name came with a new hotel and a much bigger convention feel—closer to Naughty in New Orleans than the hotel takeovers we have known in the past. And just so we are clear, this is not our event. We are affiliates because we believe in the couple behind Splash and the way they run things. We talk about it like family because that is how it feels, not because we own it.
Atlanta is also where our people tend to meet in the middle, so we roll in heavy. It is the only Splash where we bring the merch trailer. This time that meant unloading in a storm, refusing to pay downtown valet rates for a truck, parking off-site, and Ubering back to a property three or four times larger than last year’s.
From the hallway, the whole thing looked flawless. Behind the scenes, you could feel everyone learning a brand-new hotel in real time. Lifestyle signage and merchandise had to wait until the last vanilla guest checked out on Thursday. The retractable roof over the indoor pool was stuck. The EDM room was beautiful, enormous, and nearly impossible to find. That is the unfiltered version of a first year in a much bigger space.
Why did the indoor pool feel like a greenhouse?
The atrium is one of the best pool setups we have seen: a glass roof, greenery, rooms overlooking the water, and enough space for everyone to spread out. It was also hot. Really hot. With the retractable roof stuck, the room turned into a greenhouse. Lacy felt like the air was too thick to breathe unless she was in the water. Dan thought it was humid but manageable. Some people never made it into the pool at all.
The games still happened, because there were real prizes waiting—cruises, Naughty in New Orleans, and Splash certificates. Dan hosted while Lacy bounced between the pool, the room, the merch table, and their friends. By Friday, two straight weeks of travel had caught up with her.
That did not stop the nights from filling up. Thursday brought dinner with the Wifey team and Serenity Cox, a red-fetish party, Dan DJing the hidden EDM room, and playtime upstairs with Stacy and Sean. Friday started with a Swing Nation meet and greet for roughly fifty to a hundred people, including first-timers, before blue night took over. Cocktail clothes, rave wear, or some mix of both—nobody cared as long as you felt good in it.
How did a wedding orgy happen before a swinger wedding?
Late Friday, we asked an attendant if we could push beds together in another playroom. He ended up standing in the hall and pointing people toward what he called the Swing Nation wedding orgy. It was after midnight. Buffy and Dwayne were getting married at 10 the next morning.
And yes, we made the wedding. It was the third swinger wedding we have attended, and it was a reminder of something people outside the lifestyle do not always understand: this community is not just a pile of strangers chasing a wild weekend. These are real friendships. People fall in love, build lives, and ask their friends to stand beside them.
What was the unicorn flash mob?
Saturday night, Bob from Naughty in New Orleans delivered on a joke about bringing unicorns to a couples-only event. He arrived with a stack of inflatable unicorn costumes. We hid in a storage ballroom, charged onto the dance floor, jumped onstage with Sophie, and carried the whole ridiculous parade into the EDM room.
It worked because the costumes hid everyone’s faces, which meant the moment could actually be filmed. Dan closed the EDM room to a packed crowd around 2 a.m. After that, we were done playing. By Sunday, every lifestyle trace had to be down before noon, so we loaded the trailer hungover and drove home.
What is next after Splash Atlanta?
