We built The Swing Nation because too many people were trying to figure this life out without honest conversation. So we started having it out loud.
We didn't start The Swing Nation to build some polished brand. We started it because too much of the talk around the lifestyle felt secretive, awkward, or just flat-out fake. We wanted a place where couples could hear the truth, ask real questions, and feel a little less alone.
Yeah, people show up for the chemistry. But they stay for the honesty. Dan is the guy who will say the awkward part out loud. Lacy brings the heat, the humor, and the instinct to call it like it is. Together, that makes for conversations that feel real instead of rehearsed.
Over time, that turned into a podcast, a community, and a lot of live events. The Swing Nation became a place to talk about the real side of consensual non-monogamy — the fun, the nerves, the mistakes, the growth, and the stories you laugh about on the drive home.
That's why people keep coming back. Not just for the hot stories, but because we make this life feel easier to talk about. New couples get answers to the questions they're scared to ask. Experienced couples get better words for the stuff that still matters. And when things get messy, we don't duck it.
At the core of all of it is this: be curious, talk to each other, drop the shame, and figure out what works for your relationship. We don't pretend to have every answer. We just tell the truth about what we've lived and make space for other people to do the same.
